Hi, I’m Jo

A Senior Yoga Teacher with over 14 years’ experience, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. I also train others to become teachers—but I didn’t come to yoga the “natural” way. I was the kid who hated P.E. and couldn’t sit still, let alone sit in silence.

It wasn’t love at first stretch. But over time, yoga became something I kept coming back to because it helped me feel more at home in my body and a little steadier in my head.

I trained as a yoga teacher, started teaching, and eventually opened my own studio - running a thriving in person community for over a decade.

Years later, I hit burnout. Not from yoga itself, but from the way I was pushing through everything—including my practice. That was the turning point.

These days, I guide tired people toward a gentler kind of yoga. The kind that works with your energy, not against it. That offers breathing space instead of pressure. And that leaves you feeling more like yourself again.

I can’t wait to have you in class!
